In our chalet, people who are travelling alone can book a single room just for themselves, and those travelling in small groups can share a twin, a triple, or a quad room. There are so many reasons why single skiers and solo snowboarders choose Heyday Chalet in Morzine. Here are just a few of the types of independent travellers you'll meet here.

Solo travellers

Total freedom to discover the world at your own pace in your own way. Independent travellers are often attracted to places like Heyday Chalet because there you can find a ready-made network of friendly, independent-minded people to share the mountain with. When you're ready to breakout and do your own thing for a while, that's totally cool too. Heyday Chalet offers single bedrooms, as well as twin, triple and quad bedrooms.

Remote workers

A lot of people who visit Heyday Chalet actually don't ski every day of their stay. Instead, they use the chalet as a base to work remotely, skiing whenever they can and working whenever they must.

Holiday extenders

So the group wanted to ski for a week, but you can stay on for a few more days after they go. Pop over to Heyday Chalet and get yourself a few cheeky extra days before you head home.

The Coliving crowd

Backpacking for grown-ups. They travel around the world, working wherever they can find scorching hot wifi. Living on the road, they visit cool places (like Morzine), staying for a few days or a few months. It's called coliving.

We keep our prices down because we want to build an awesome coliving space full of interesting and adventurous people. Luckily for our guests, that usually means a cheaper ski holiday than you'd get elsewhere in Morzine.

A chalet with one big difference A place for skiing, living and remote working

Not everyone who stays with Heyday Chalet is here purely for a ski holiday. In fact, a lot of people who stay here spend as much time working remotely as they do on the slopes. That's because our flexible, coliving style set-up attracts so many remote workers, solo travellers and digital nomads. Our chalet is a place where people can stay, work and explore. For people who are working, we have a coworking-style office space with 8 workstations and lightning fast internet. Some of our guests stay for over a month, skiing when they can and working when they must. This coliving aspect is one of the things that gives our chalet such a friendly, community feel. It's also one of the reasons we ask all our guests to respect quiet time in Chalet Flori after 11pm.

Flexibility for you

At Heyday Chalet, you can arrive and depart on any day of the week. After all, your holiday should fit with your needs, not the other way round.

Arrive any day of the week and choose a departure date that works for you. During the ski season our minimum stay is seven nights. Beyond that, stay as long as you like.

Get cheaper flights

By avoiding the busy weekend transfer days, you can get cheaper flights. Use the saving to stay an extra day.

Ski on the quietest days of the week

On the weekends, while most skiers are stood in line at the airport, you can be enjoying the quietest days on the slopes.

Chalet Flori is a large, social property with plenty of space to spread out, relax and mingle if you want to. After a long day on the slopes, head out onto the sun terrace and enjoy a dip in the hot tub before dinner. With a roaring log fire and rustic exposed beams, the dining room provides a great space to trade stories about your day's adventures. Stop at the honesty bar en route to the lounge and while away the evening.

Throughout the winter, Chalet Flori and Apartment Flori offer a catered service with seven weekly breakfasts and four weekly evening meals included in the price of your winter stay. The dining room is a large but cosy social space which celebrates the very best traditions of local interiors: log fire, exposed wood beams, stone walls and a large communal dining table.

Heyday Chalet is on the Montriond side of Morzine, giving incredible access to the Montriond lakes in summer and the Avoriaz skiing in winter. Whether you're on two wheels, two skis or two feet, the Super Morzine cable car will be your first port of call and is conveniently located just one kilometer (13-minute walk) from Chalet Flori's door. Barely 300m beyond, you will find Morzine's popular shops, bars and restaurants as well as the tourist office.
